Our Mission
Sun Chemical’s sustainability policy is based on the concept of eco-efficiency as defined by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Eco-efficiency is achieved by the delivery of economically competitive goods and services that satisfy our customers’ needs and brings quality of life, while progressively reducing ecological impact and resource intensity throughout the life-cycle.
As we developed our policy, we considered the key forces of the chemical sector, which we view as having similar issues as those driving our business. Just like the chemical sector, the development of innovative processes and products are what direct our business. In this context, managing our impact on the environment from both our processes and products is necessary.
