ISIS™ is a Technical Programme with a progressive approach towards excellence in productivity.  It involves Sun Chemical personnel on site, as well as "team work".  All the Sun Chemical know-how in inks and graphic arts is needed to build the pyramid, and former Heatset printers from Sun Chemical technical teams are performing these steps:

  • What the Technical Audit Programme Does Do:
    1. A Sun Chemical technician measures on the press the key parameters such as:
      • Fount chemistry
      • Temperature – chills, rollers
      • Lithographic performance (visual) (performed by former press operators)
    2. A report is released for each visit on each press
    3. If necessary, corrective actions or recommendations are made on the report so that immediate adjustments could be made by the print shop
  • What Technical Audit Programme Does Not Do:
    • Only key running parameters are measured, not a full analysis of the workflow
    • One day measurement does not take into account the complete conditions of work on the press (different papers, different jobs, etc...)
    • A technician approach does not calculate the cash savings and the added value created
    • Visits are at periodic intervals (linear improvement)
