  • Express offset inks perform well on straight printing and long perfecting presses but are especially suited to ultra fast work and turn. In the modern press-room equipped with the latest high speed presses, there is a need for both long run work and short run work. Express process inks are ideally suited to this environment.

    • In long run work on both straight and perfecting presses, Express process inks will give optimum performance in terms of productivity and efficiency.
    • In short run work for fast work and turn, there are two special demands that can only be met with the latest in offset ink development:
      • Resistance to print scratching
      • Resistance to press marking or marking in post-print handling
    • Sun Chemical's scientists have found a way to avoid these problems with innovative formulation techniques, and this has resulted in the Express series that can be worked and turned in offset production in 20-30 minutes and with a minimum delay before print finishing.

    • Sun Chemical Express series can be used on all paper and board substrates normally used in sheetfed offset printing, and when used together with the range of Sun Fount™ fountain solutions and SunCoat coatings, can increase productivity in perfecting, straight printing and fast work and turn in the same print shop.
