  • New Intense Sheetfed process inks from the world's leading ink maker
    • For some sheetfed printing applications, even the best sheetfed process inks are not intense enough for all applications. To meet specialist needs for a more intense product, Sun Chemical has developed Intense process inks that are completely mineral oil free and are made from novel vegetable oil chemistry.
    • Intense process inks perform well on straight printing and long perfecting presses and can be used on the majority of substrates where a low or reduced ink film weight or increased print density is a requirement. Intense process inks can be used for both long run work and short run work on all sheetfed offset presses.

    • Provide excellent print definition and ink trapping resulting in brilliant prints.
    • Have exceptional lithographic stability and are duct fresh.
    • Are fast setting and rapid drying which allows fast print finishing and further processing.
    • Prints show very good mechanical resistance and rub resistance.
    • Sun Chemical Intense series can be used on all paper and board substrates normally used in sheetfed offset printing and when used together with the range of Sun Fount™ fountain solutions and SunCoat coatings can increase productivity in perfecting and straight printing when lower film-weights or higher intensity are needed.
