The ULTRA DOT™ blanket is designed for use in commercial applications where a normal compressible layer is required. The .020" compressible layer provides minimal gauge loss on installation, as well as virtually no additional gauge loss during its life span.
Tests show that blanket consumption can be reduced by as much as 20% with the use of these blankets. The construction of this blanket provides a solid base from which to print, thus making it equal to or better than any others on the market for dot sharpness, print contrast and durability.
The surface rubber on the Ultra Dot™ is specially formulated to provide excellent ink transfer and release characteristics from a high (or, very high) buffed surface. This blanket may also be used in some sheetfed applications.
