US Ink Appoints John C. Corcoran Vice President, Sales

Carlstadt, NJ - March 25, 2002 -- US Ink, a division of Sun Chemical Corporation, announced today that John C. Corcoran has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Sales, effective immediately. Mr. Corcoran, who had been National Accounts Manager for the division, will continue to report to Ronald C. Baker, President, US Ink.

"This promotion recognizes John's leadership in unifying Sun Chemical's news ink customer base," said Mr. Baker. "Over the years, John has demonstrated a remarkable ability to meet marketplace challenges, contributing significantly to our company's growth. He is held in high esteem by our customers because of his dedication to understanding their businesses and working with them to resolve problems."

In his new capacity, Mr. Corcoran will be responsible for assessing, coordinating and implementing division sales and marketing strategies and policies, including national accounts, marketing, and advertising functions.

Mr. Corcoran's career began in Sun Chemical Inks (GPI) in 1979, where he gained experience as a technical trainee assigned to the Philadelphia solvent flexo lab and in-plants. He was transferred to commercial sales before joining Sun Chemical's News Ink Division as a sales representative in 1983. In 1989, he assumed responsibility for the News Ink Division's Eastern Region. When USPI and Sun Chemical merged in 1994 to form US Ink, he became sales manager in the Eastern Region. He was named National Accounts Manager in 1998.

Mr. Corcoran received his degree in Business Administration in 1997.
