VivitekTM Introduces MagniTekTM Pressroom Chemistries at Graph Expo

Fort Lee, NJ - September 29, 2003 -- Vivitek will introduce the MagniTek family of pressroom chemistries, including fountain solutions, washes, web conditioners, and blankets at Graph Expo 2003 to be held Sept. 28 to Oct. 1 in Chicago. MagniTek products are formulated to improve print quality and press performance. The custom solutions, formulated by closely aligning ink and solution technologies, have demonstrated proven performance on both web offset and sheetfed presses.

MagniTekTM fountain solutions have proven to improve press performance through faster, cleaner start ups, reduced waste and valuable time saved by reaching color faster. MagniTekTM has demonstrated measurable improvements in quality through sharper dot reproduction and higher color densities on a wide variety of web and sheetfed presses and dampening systems. The product line also includes solutions for energy curable, cold set and business forms systems.

A large Northeast commercial printer with multiple presses says, "An effective fountain solution should deliver effective lubrication to both plate and blanket to keep them running clean without build up". Further he says, "It only makes sense that the ink and fount should be developed by the same technical source. Given the amount of money you spend on state of the art presses if the ink and the fountain solution are not compatible, you won’t print."
