WebXtras Expands Its Consumables Portfolio with tesa's EasySplice® Tapes for Its Newspaper, Publication Gravure and Heatset Magazine Markets

London - February 22, 2004 -- WebXtras, Sun Chemical UK's market leading consumables division is expanding its product range with the addition of tesa adhesive tapes under a "focused distributor arrangement" with tesa UK Ltd..

Launched in May last year as an on-line consumables ordering service to the publication gravure, newspaper coldset and heatset magazine printing sectors, WebXtras has grown rapidly both adding to its national customer base and enhancing the management and information service available online at

Available to printers round the clock WebXtras has provided an efficient one-stop service for a comprehensive product range from fount solutions to blankets, from gloves and goggles to silicones.

And now WebXtras is moving into reel handling with its 25-strong sales and technical team offering, face to face and online, knowledge of tesa's EasySplice product range. This covers tapes for butt joins, web-mending, reel-tabbing, web feeding and core starting and are marketed under the brand names -teas EasySplice® Printline, EasySplice® Detect and EasySplice® Heat.

tesa AG of Hamburg is Europe's largest adhesive tape manufacture covering industrial, packaging, stationery, office and consumer DIY markets.
