Taylor Development Recognizes K&M for its Innovation and Service

Northlake, IL - August 03, 2004 -- Kohl & Madden has received the 2004 Distinguished Partner Award from Taylor Development, the support organization for the autonomous businesses that are divisions and affiliates of Taylor Corporation. Kohl & Madden is one of only four companies to receive this award, chosen from an initial list of more than 100 vendors. This award recognizes Kohl & Madden for product innovation and exceptional service to the 90 businesses within the Taylor Corporation family of companies.

“Kohl & Madden has been responsive and has demonstrated a genuine desire to provide exceptional services to our business,” said Ed Alvarez, COO of Taylor Development.” Taylor Corporation noted K&M’s dedication to find an existing ink that works or create one that does the job.

“It is gratifying to be recognized as a good partner by our customer,” said Brad Bergey, president of Kohl & Madden, a division of Sun Chemical Corporation that serves the commercial printing market. “It is part of our culture to offer innovative products that improve printers’ productivity. However, we feel it is the attentive local service offered by K&M people across the country that sets us apart from our competitors.”
