Performance Pigments Expands Lustrous SunSHINE™ Effect Pigment Line
Cincinnati, OH
- April 14, 2005 -- Sun Chemical Performance Pigments announced today the addition of several new, innovative products to its established SunSHINE™ color effect pigment line. The expanded line combines sophisticated multi-dimensional interplays of color that offer formulators a never before seen pallet of effect pigments. With their shimmer, luster and wide spectrum of colors, SunSHINE™ effect pigments are ideal for use in cosmetic applications.
The new SunSHINE™ effect pigments possess higher chroma, color purity and brightness that outshine traditional effect pigments. This revolutionary high glint and luster result from the unique combination of absorption pigments, such as carmine, ferric ferrocyanide and red iron oxide, that are deposited on interference synthetic fluorphlogopite. The SunSHINE™ pigments' consistent particle size distribution, interference-absorption stability and unique surface smoothness further highlight the pigments' distinctive color effects.
