Sun Chemical’s New EXPRESS™ Process Inks: The Fast Track to Maximum Productivity
London, England
- July 10, 2006 -- Sun Chemical, the world's largest producer of printing inks and pigments, has launched EXPRESS™, a sheetfed process set designed to help printers achieve maximum productivity in fast work and turn or perfecting sheetfed offset.
To survive and prosper in today's demanding market place the sheetfed commercial printer needs constant innovation and the best business partners. EXPRESS™ process inks are a newly developed innovation offered to you by Sun Chemical to meet both the need for productivity and versatility in one ink system. Changes within the commercial and publication market place can mean not only long runs on straight and perfecting presses but also the need to work and turn some short run jobs in a matter of minutes without the worry of set off and marking in the stack or on the press. As your preferred partner for printing inks, coatings and press chemicals Sun Chemical offers an EXPRESS™ solution to give you the best productivity on your press with improved fast work and turn together with fast finishing.
These inks, like others available from Sun Chemical, are based on novel vegetable oil chemistry, maximising the use of renewable resource materials, which allow printers to conform to the most demanding environmental standards. These inks perform well on all straight printing and long perfecting presses and can be used on the majority of substrates for both long run and short run work on all sheetfed offset presses. When used with SunFount fountain solutions and SunCoat coatings, EXPRESS™ can increase productivity without compromising versatility.
Felipe Mellado, corporate vice-president, Marketing and Technology, Sun Chemical Europe, said: "EXPRESS™ process inks are the result of substantial investment in R&D in Sun Chemical and years of 'know how' in meeting market demands.
