Sun Chemical Introduces SunPEARL™ Pearlescent Pigments for Cosmetics and Personal Care Products
PARSIPPANY, N.J., USA
- November 29, 2007 -- The
illusion of authentic pearl in shades of silver, gold, blue or green is
now possible in cosmetics and personal care products with the new
SunPEARL™ Shadows , part of the SunPEARL™ Pearlescent product line from
Sun Chemical. The innovative pigment portfolio allows cosmetic
companies to create makeup products that radiate a range of colors when
viewed at different angles without requiring a white base.
“SunPEARL Shadows provides a greatly expanded resource for cosmetic
color formulators to use when making eye shadow, fingernail polish or
lipstick,” said Sanjoy Ganguly, Industry Manager Cosmetic Americas,
Performance Pigments Group, Sun Chemical. “The shadow colors we create
provide intense, dark interference color effects that deliver a wide
range of sophisticated colors when combined with other colorants.”
SunPEARL Shadows comes in a variety of colors, including: silver, gold,
pink, blue, green and bright gold. In addition to SunPEARL Shadows,
SunPEARL Pearlescents comes in a complete line of colors and particle
