Etch Resist, Plating Resist and Peelable Mask Product Range Sun Chemical's range of resists are Alkaline or Acid resistant, and strippable in Alkaline or Solvents. LPI (liquid photo Imageable) versions are available, which can be applied by screen, roller coat, spray, or curtain coat. These products are generally used in the PCB industry as well as any industry that needs to etch/plate metals, including nameplates/chemical milling.
This range include the Red peelable (XZ93R), which has been specifically designed to withstand high temperature applications including multiple wave pass’s for lead free soldering without loss of elasticity. This product is able to tent up to 5mm holes. The product is part of a range of peelable resists for both etching or plating, which can withstand most known plating/etching chemistry. Removal is by manually peeling. Resists are used in the PCB industry as well as Glass etching.
