SunJet aims to be a world class supplier of environmentally responsible, specialty products offering customers continually improving levels of quality and service.
We seek to promote and maintain an Environmental Policy to ensure that the impact of our operations upon the environment is reduced to as low a level as possible.
Concern for and an awareness of the environment are the responsibility of managers, supervisors and employees at every level in the company and are an integral part of their daily duties. All personnel have an obligation to apply operating practices and procedures which will ensure the protection of the environment and the Safety and Health of themselves and their colleagues.
In the event of an environmental accident or incident, all details will be properly reported and investigated with prompt action taken to remedy the situation and to avoid any recurrence.
OBJECTIVES
In accordance with the above, SunJet has identified the following key objectives and actions, to serve as guidelines in the implementation of its Environmental Policy. These objectives and actions are to be achieved using the best available techniques, not entailing excessive cost.
  • To comply with national legislation, local regulatory controls and relevant industry standards and codes of practice.
  • To prevent pollution and give a swift response to accidents or incidents in order to minimise any threat to the environment.
  • To reduce levels of waste produced. To dispose of such waste in a safe and responsible way and employ recycling or reuse wherever economically viable.
  • To develop and maintain an Environmental Management System, conduct regular environmental audits, and review objectives and targets on a regular basis.
  • To minimise the environmental impact of new products and processes by employing the best available techniques not entailing excessive cost.
  • To provide advice to customers on the safe handling, disposal and transportation of our products.
  • To promote environmental principles by sharing and exchanging information of environmental importance with regulatory bodies, professional associations, other companies, suppliers, customers, employees.
  • To continually improve environmental performance and prevent pollution in all relevant spheres of operations. 
IMPLEMENTATION
In implementing this Environmental Policy, we will monitor waste sources and introduce minimisation plans. Best practice techniques not entailing excessive costs will be adopted by SunJet for the reduction of emissions to air, water and land and for the conservation of water and energy.
The need to minimise environmental impact will be inherent in all research and development programmes.

SunJet management executive headed by J P Law is responsible for commitment to this Policy which enshrines a compliance with applicable laws and continual improvement by ensuring resources are provided to meet its stated objectives.
