Digital Tools for Pigments

Our digital Pigment Finder allows you to access our complete pigment portfolio online, as well as to select, compare and save products and access the latest product information.

Our PigmentViewer app features high-tech color digitalization and enables you to review and compare samples, as well as experience effect and color pigments from various angles in a realistic format.

 

Pigments & Additives for Protective and Decorative Coatings

We offer a range of solutions for functional black pigments, including solutions for solar heat management, such as Sicopal®Xfast® and Spectrasense®NIR-transparent or reflective pigments, and corrosion protection with black zinc (BendaLutz® ZINK Z 2031/BL29230).

DIC’s Dicnate MV-130A is a novel cobalt-free and VOC-free drier which shows efficient drying at very low dosage, low dark yellowing and excellent compatibility with secondary driers, as well as matting agents and pigments.

 

Pigments & Polymers for Automotive

We will also be showcasing the latest innovations in our eXpand!®Lumina® Royal and Paliocrom® lines – a range of high performance and effect pigments to enable eye-catching stylings.

We will present the latest range of SAPICI  Bluepur®, DIC Hydran and Watersol polyurethanes dispersions, as well as SAPICI’s Bluecryl and DIC’s Watersol acrylics dispersions for coatings including automotive, general industry, industrial wood finishing, or plastic coatings for 1k and 2k solutions.

DIC’s Watersol HY 4500 is a new water-based resin which provides excellent adhesion to plastics, high flexibility and low co-solvent demand.

New offerings include DIC’s latest range of Hydran bio-based polyurethane dispersions for artificial leather, with solutions for skin (WLS Series), adhesive (WLA series) and coagulation layer (WLI series).

 

Polymers & Additives for Adhesives & Specialties

 

 

Discover the complete SAPICI portfolio of polyisocyanates and prepolymers (Polurgreen®/MT/MC/PRP) for a broad range of applications including coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, casting, inks and more. Our range includes water-dispersible low free monomer polyisocyanates (Hydrorene® 01) to formulate 2K systems, as well as bio-based polyisocyanates to support a more sustainable future.

We have a long history of polyester and acrylic resins for multiple coatings and adhesives needs. SAPICI’s new solvent free resins REXIN® HSP series from renewable raw materials are suitable for building and construction and wide range of other applications. DIC’s newly developed polyester Burnock PE 2133 can improve flexibility and gloss in multiple coatings applications. DIC’s Burnock AC 1750 is a new solvent borne acrylic resin with outstanding pigment wetting for use, amongst others, in pigment preparations.

 


Supporting Reforestation with One Tree Planted

At Sun Chemical, we care deeply about the environment and are committed to collaboration to improve sustainability. In addition to our existing cross-industry partnerships and collaboration projects, we are now proud to have teamed up with One Tree Planted, an organization that supports reforestation by planting trees where they are most needed. We are excited to give visitors to our stand the chance to contribute to this worthwhile cause.
