Sun Chemical Showcases Full Line of PPS Products at K 2019
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY – October 16-23, 2019 – Sun Chemical Advanced Materials will showcase its complete line of polyphenylene sulfide (DIC.PPS) compounds during the K 2019 trade fair.
Visitors of Stand E13 in Hall 8a will learn how the DIC.PPS product line features the characteristics of a typical engineering thermoplastic while being formulated with both glass fiber and/or mineral filler. With more than 200 grades of PPS, including branched, linear and impact-modified varieties, the high temperature performance polymer offers excellent chemical resistance that is inherently flame retardant.
DIC.PPS and Primef®, one of the premier brands of DIC.PPS that will be highlighted at the trade fair, serve as examples of how DIC.PPS product lines exhibit superior elevated temperature resistance, advanced mechanical properties and excellent dimensional stability designed to meet demanding tight tolerance applications.
Through the innovative technologies for compounding and polymerization, DIC.PPS realizes superior characteristics as an engineering plastic and is utilized for various applications such as alternatives to metals and thermoset plastics in automotive, electrical and electronic, and industrial markets. DIC.PPS product portfolio contains a wide variety of engineered products that can be custom formulated to meet the most demanding performance requirements.
