Sun Chemical Receives Bronze Performance Improvement Award from the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates

PARSIPPANY, N.J., USA – February 13, 2018 – Sun Chemical has been recognized for improving environmental, health, safety and security performance at its Bushy Park facility by the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA), the leading trade association representing specialty chemical manufacturers.

Sun Chemical participates in SOCMA’s ChemStewards® program, which encourages companies to operate their facilities in an environment that promotes safety, environmental and chemical security compliance to all stakeholders.

Sun Chemical recently accepted a Bronze Performance Improvement Award at SOCMA’s 96th Annual Meeting and Member Dinner, which recognized the company’s successful efforts to go above and beyond the federal requirement for environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) compliance along with employee training and engagement.
