PARSIPPANY, N.J., USA – May 19, 2017 – Sun Chemical’s John Schneiderhan was recently elected to the International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) Board of Directors as a director and supplier representative.
During his two-year term, Schneiderhan will contribute to the association’s action strategy, including supporting membership and educational programming.
A graduate of Allegheny College, Schneiderhan has worked in the plastic card industry since 1993. He started his career with Sun Chemical’s parent company, DIC Corporation, in 1997 and was instrumental in developing the company’s customizable Deuton-M magnetic tape products, such as color and printed magnetic tape. In addition, Schneiderhan has expanded Sun Chemical’s plastic card offerings with SunCarte screen inks, conductive inks for printed antenna and printed batteries, and security inks.
As a global key account manager, Schneiderhan’s current responsibilities include promoting and expanding Sun Chemical and DIC products throughout the Americas while coordinating product approvals and sales contracts with internationally-based companies. A member of the ICMA since 1995, he is an integral member of the association and regularly delivers technical presentations at its annual workshops.
