Sun Chemical Wins Nine AAF American Advertising Awards for ‘Experience. Transformation.’ Marketing Campaign

PARSIPPANY, N.J., U.S.A. – April 19, 2024 – Sun Chemical’s ‘Experience. Transformation.’ marketing campaign, launched in 2023, received significant recognition across several categories during the Buffalo AAF American Advertising Awards and was named a finalist for “Best of Show.”

These marketing achievements point to Sun Chemical’s long-standing environmental initiatives which provide the framework for its operations, products and services, and industry collaborations. Sun Chemical uses the ‘five Rs’ of Reuse, Reduce, Renew, Recycle, and Redesign as practices for sustainable growth across its market segments to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, comply with tightening industry regulations, and meet the growing demands of customers for more environmentally friendly products.

Sun Chemical’s focus on sustainability has prompted acquisitions like Sensient, to introduce a range of eco-friendly, water-based pigments and inks, and SAPICI, to introduce adhesives that help lightweight packaging, among others.

Sun Chemical also complies with its parent company DIC Corporation’s Sustainability Index by formulating its products with sustainability at top of mind, from development through end-use. The ‘Experience. Transformation.’ campaign provides an opportunity to publicize these measures and to invite other market leaders and customers to engage in the industry more sustainably.

“A global campaign that can be used across all of Sun Chemical’s platforms has been a powerful way to promote our environmental values,” said Heather Buchholz, Global Marketing Manager, Sun Chemical. “‘Experience. Transformation.’ is truly a company-wide campaign, adaptable to various audiences and customized to each business segment for the continued development of Sun Chemical’s leadership in transformative sustainable initiatives for the industry and for our customers.”
