Sun Chemical and Cyngient unveil strategic narrow web partnership at LOUPE Americas 2026
A co-branded specialty product line featuring advanced coatings and high-performance adhesives will be among the products showcased at LOUPE Americas 2026.
PARSIPPANY, N.J., USA – September 10th, 2026 – Sun Chemical and Cyngient have formed a strategic partnership designed to combine the companies’ strengths in inks, coatings and adhesives while expanding the specialty solutions available to narrow web label and package printing converters.
The companies will formally introduce the partnership at LOUPE Americas 2026, September 15-17 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, USA, just outside Chicago, with Sun Chemical exhibiting at booth 326 and Cyngient at booth 1101.
At the center of the collaboration is a new joint-branded Sun Chemical / Cyngient specialty product line featuring advanced coatings and high-performance adhesives. The portfolio is designed for converters seeking premium print quality, differentiated embellishment effects and reliable on-press performance.
The partnership combines Sun Chemical’s extensive technology portfolio, global research and development capabilities with Cyngient’s focus on specialty products, technical support and responsive service for narrow web converters.
Embellishment technologies will be a key focus of the collaboration, as converters and brands continue to look for ways to create greater visual and tactile impact on labels and packaging. The companies will work together to provide specialty coatings and adhesive technologies that enable converters to expand their capabilities while maintaining the production performance required in demanding narrow web environments.
The alliance also strengthens both companies’ ability to support customers from product selection and application development through testing and commercial production.
Dennis Sweet, vice president, NWTL, Commercial, Sun Chemical, comments: “We are pleased to add Cyngient as a trusted supplier and partner to Sun Chemical’s offerings. This partnership will add several specialty products to Sun Chemical’s broad portfolio in the narrow web tag and label segment.
