Sun Chemical to showcase natural color solutions at Fi Europe 2026

SOUTH NORMANTON, UK – October 14th, 2026 – Sun Chemical will present its latest natural color innovations at FIE 2026, taking place November 17-19, 2026, in Frankfurt, Germany. Visitors to Hall 5.1, Booth 51B105, will discover a portfolio of natural color solutions led by Sun Chemical’s spirulina expertise, alongside a range of plant-based color solutions for food and beverage applications.

The showcase will center on Sun Chemical’s California-grown spirulina, produced through a fully integrated cultivation process supported by more than 50 years of experience in spirulina optimization, harvesting and quality management. This longstanding expertise enables Sun Chemical to provide high-quality spirulina solutions that help manufacturers meet growing consumer demand for healthy and naturally sourced ingredients.

Building on this foundation, Sun Chemical will also feature LINABLUE® G1 spirulina extract, a premium blue color solution derived from spirulina. Supported by rigorous quality controls and an integrated supply chain, LINABLUE® delivers phycocyanin pigments designed for vibrant blue shades in food and beverage applications.

Additional highlights will include SUNFOODS® natural color solutions, featuring beet-based reds, anthocyanins derived from purple sweet potatoes, black carrots and grape skins, and brown color alternatives produced from roasted corn and malt. Together, these solutions provide product developers with a broad palette of natural color options for a wide range of applications.

Sophia Jin, Business Manager, Food and Nutrition at Sun Chemical, comments: “As consumer demand for natural ingredients continues to increase, manufacturers are looking for color solutions that combine quality, reliability and application flexibility. Our expertise in spirulina cultivation and color innovation enables us to help customers create products that deliver both visual appeal and consumer confidence. We’re looking forward to showcasing our natural color solutions at Fi Europe 2026.”

Visitors will be able to explore prototypes featuring the highlighted color solutions and discuss formulation opportunities with Sun Chemical specialists throughout the event.
