PPS Solutions
As a global leader in PPS compound manufacturing, our portfolio includes over 250 grades, supported by a worldwide production network. Our PPS solutions cater to automotive e-powertrain components, such as e-engines, power electronics, and lithium-ion cells/batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as pipe extrusions for thermal management in both combustion and electrical engines.

PPS for Pipe and Tube Applications
We will showcase DIC.PPS Z-200-XP, an unfilled, impact-modified, extrusion grade PPS designed for pipe and tube applications. Particularly suited to automotive coolant lines, this grade offers high viscosity optimal for extrusion processes, flexibility, and inherent chemical and heat resistance.

PPS for Bus Bar Applications
DIC.PPS Z-240 BLACK is developed for bus bar applications in hybrid and electric cars, excelling in high flowability, temperature and heat shock resistance, very low dimensional tolerances, and high dielectric strength.

Drinking Water and Food Applications
We expanded our portfolio to include DIC.PPS FZ-2140-F3 BLACK, a 40% glass-reinforced PPS engineered to meet stringent regulatory standards for both food contact and potable water applications. Additionally, the drinking water approved grade DIC.PPS Z-230 BLACK, an impact-modified 30% glass-reinforced material is used for various water applications. These products offer a unique combination of properties, making it a valuable addition to DIC’s extensively developed PPS range.

DIC.PPS MP-6060 for Metal Plating
The etching of PPS normally requires a dedicated process line due to its superior chemical resistance. MP-6060 can be etched in existing baths for general purpose plastics while retaining the inherent properties of PPS. MP-6060, either with electroless and electrolytic plating, exhibits electric field shielding at the level of measurement limit as same as aluminum. This lightweight solution offers design freedom through injection molding, high dimensional stability for extremely accurate applications.

Thermal Conductive DIC.PPS TX-Series
DIC.PPS TX series offers electric insulative and thermal conductive PPS compounds and is designed to have higher thermal conductivity with less anisotropy. It also delivers strong mechanical properties, such as knitline strength and good processability.
